SS Justin Meekins graduated from Stephen Decatur in 2015 with high hopes of what was ahead of him. Having been a 4 year starter at short stop for the Seahawks, he had signed to continue playing at the University of Maryland. An injury to his throwing shoulder, forced him to return home to rehab, and has ultimately found him now at Salisbury University where he plans to play baseball.
The Stephen Decatur boys basketball team is one of the best teams in the Bayside and after last night's big win over Battlefield, the Seahawks looked to string together their second straight win on the final day of the Governor's Challenge while taking on Bowie.
