Washington Can’t Get Past Dunbar
The Jaguars took the court on Wednesday evening looking to add to last night’s win over Patterson Mill while taking on Dunbar.
Montraz Oliver led the way for him team dropping 30 points and he’d score the first points in the Jags game against the Poets as Washington took a 6-2 lead, but then Dunbar turned up the heat. The Poets went on a 12 point run holding off the Jags and would take a big lead, 45-20 at half.
As the second half got underway, the Jags got out to another slow start, but the Poets weren’t scoring too many points of their own. Washington put up 15 in both the third and fourth quarters combined, while Dunbar added 25 points to give the Poets the win, 70-35.
Washington – Montraz Oliver (10 pts) – Tyler Poulson (10 pts)
