Hello there Delmarva!
My name is Julia Green and I recently joined WMDT as a multi-media journalist in June 2026.
I recently graduated from Temple University in May 2026, where I received a degree in communications and a certificate in sports media. Outside of my coursework, I was a reporter and anchor for multiple student broadcast organizations, along with working as a sideline reporter for Widener and West Chester University Football teams.
I am originally from Northern Virginia, where I was first introduced to reporting through being in close proximity to Washington, DC. I have a passion for storytelling, and upon joining WMDT, I look forward to covering the stories that most impact local communities. Although I am from the other side of the Potomac River, majority of my family lives in Maryland, and I have spent time vacationing in both Ocean City and Assateague.
Outside of reporting, I enjoy watching motorsports, reading a new book, or playing tennis.
I look forward to exploring the area and getting to know some new faces — Because local matters!
