Somerset Libraries hold fifth annual Fall Festival

Crisfield, Md. — The Crisfield Library was bustling Saturday as families and vendors came out for the Somerset County Library Fall Festival.
This year marked the library’s fifth annual fall fest – and though it was largely moved inside for the first time – the community showed up.
The event promised fun for the whole family – and multiple kids were excitedly walking around collecting stickers from vendors.
“It is a very family friendly, very, kid friendly atmosphere here at the library always, but especially for Fall Festival. We do like to try to entertain the kids, with the hayride and the face painting. And then, of course, in our children’s section – we have plenty of toys, computers, everything like that to keep them busy,” said Jamie Bradshaw, the Somerset Libraries assistant director.
The event offered access to local vendors, fall drinks, face painting, music, a photo area, a 50/50 raffle – and a hayride.
Bradshaw said the event is inviting for vendors from across the community as well.
“Local community members are able to come and set up, for free. So there’s no charge to be a vendor. So we typically have between 20 and 30 vendors each year. And it typically grows each year. So we’re just super excited to be able to welcome everyone in,” Bradshaw said.
