Sussex Central jumped out to a big lead and was able to hold on for a 61-41 win over North Dorchester in their bracket championship game of the Governor's Challenge. The win improves the Golden Knights to 2-4 on the year.

The Parkside boys basketball team defied the odds and fought their way to defeat Patterson 69-67. The Rams overcame a 9 point deficit with 4 minutes left to pull off the win.

Washington Boys Basketball Blast Mervo

Washington boys basketball picked up another win Monday night when they defeated Mervo 87-58 in their first game in the Governor's Challenge. The Jaguars jumped out to a huge first quarter lead and rolled from there for the win.

Duff's 33 Powers Bennett Past Westminster

The James M. Bennett team picked up another big win Monday night when they defeated Westminster 60-55. Jorden Duffy came up huge again for the Clippers, finishing with 33 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.

Colonel Richards falls to Benjamin Franklin

Colonel Richardson and Benjamin Franklin square off Monday morning in Day 3 of the Governor's Challenge. In the second half, Colonel Richardson scored 30 points, but it was not enough to top over Benjamin Franklin. The game closed out with a win by Benjamin Franklin 57-44.

Sussex Central tops Harford Christian in a second half win

The first half Harford was solid on both sides of the ball - their shots were falling and they were playing energetic defense; however, the second half was a different story - Sussex Central came out ready to play - attacking the hoop and knocking down important shots to give them the pull ahead lead.

Kent County falls to West Charlotte

Kent County faced off against West Charlotte who dominated from the start. West Charlotte jumped onto a quick lead and would not let go scoring 25 points in just the first quarter alone and held Kent County to 8 points.

Cambridge SD Handles Mardela

Cambridge South Dorchester pulled out a win Saturday afternoon when they defeated Mardela 63-34 the final. The Vikings jumped out to a quick lead, and never looked back as as they coasted to the win.
