Hello Delmarva, I’m Braden Hamelin a multi-media journalist for WMDT-47 and I joined the team in August 2026.
I’m a Towson, MD native and attended the University of Maryland, where I graduated with a journalism degree in 2023. Reporting is a longtime passion and I spent over two years writing for print papers in Howard County, MD before moving to the Eastern Shore. I look forward to getting immersed in the local community and share the important stories that impact residents every day.
When I’m not reporting, you can find me watching the Orioles and Ravens along with hiking, camping or visiting the beach.
