Cambridge Police Department Mourns Passing of Captain Who Died While On-Duty

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – The Cambridge Police Department announcing that one of their Captains died while on duty Monday.

Captain Ronald “Shane” Hinson passed away September 21, according to a post from the Cambridge Police Department.

Captain Hinson served the City of Cambridge for more than 27 years.

The department says he was a friend, mentor and valued member of their law enforcement family.

Captain Hinson leaves behind a wife and five children.
