The Shorebirds won their 5th straight ball game Wednesday night and completed a three game sweep of the Intimidators after Ryan Mountcastle would hit a walk-off RBI single to right in the 11th for a 4-3 win. The win improves the Shorebirds to 38-26 on the year and just 2 games back of first place with 5 games to go.
Wicomico traveled to take on Worcester in some American Legion action on Wednesday and after a scare by Worcester, Wicomico was able to pull out the win 10-5 to remain perfect on the season.
Talbot-Caroline and Dorchester squared off in some American Legion Baseball action on Tuesday and Talbot-Caroline won a quick 5 inning game, 24-4.
The Delmarva Shorebirds won their 4th straight ball game Tuesday night when they defeated Kannapolis 5-4. The win improves the Shorebirds to 37-26.
