Five Individuals Arrested for Attempted Murder at Easton American Legion
EASTON, Md. – The Easton Police Department (EPD) has arrested five individuals on charges including first-degree attempted murder over the past week.
On Mar. 12 and Mar. 16, detectives arrested 37-year-old Tymor T. Horne and 22-year-old Ah’Niyah S. Fitchett of Cambridge; 50-year-old Charlie J. Blanchfield and 22-year-old Brandi S. Parker of Greensboro; and 19-year-old Jasiyah C. Henry of Denton. All five individuals were charged with first and second degree attempted murder, first and second degree assault, conspiracy, and related charges. They were all committed to the Talbot County Detention Center.
At 12:23 a.m. on Mar. 1, EPD officers were dispatched to the American Legion on Glenwood Avenue in reference to a fight in progress. Upon arrival, officers located a large crowd outside of the building. Police say that, due to the chaos and lack of cooperation from individuals on the scene, they were unsure of what had taken place.
A short time later, officers responded to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center in reference to a subject who had walked in with stab wounds. Police interviews revealed a subject was assaulted by several people inside the American Legion before being stabbed twice. Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, he was flown to the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore where he received treatment for several days.
Detectives obtained surveillance video at the Legion, and learned that Parker, Henry, Fitchett, Blanchfield, and Horne all assaulted the victim. Horne proceeded to stab the victim three times.
