Felton man arrested on domestic related charges

FELTON, Del. – A Felton man has been arrested on domestic related charges.

39-year-old Lamont Jiggetts of Felton was arrested on August 6th for his involvement in an incident the week prior.

On July 31st, Felton Police were dispatched to the 100 block of East Sewell Street for a reported domestic disturbance.

As a result of the investigation, it was determined the victim and Jiggetts were involved in a verbal dispute which turned physical.

Jiggetts allegedly kicked and punched the female victim when she fell to the ground. He allegedly threatened more harm to her and then stole her iPad.

Once, EMS arrived, the victim refused further medical treatment. The investigation proved there was a no contact order in place between the suspect and victim at the time of the domestic altercation.

Jiggetts fled the scene prior to the arrival of police.

He was later arrested without incident and faces a slew of charges including assault in the third degree, theft under $1,500, terroristic threatening and breach of release.
