50th Annual Dorchester Showcase Gives Artists a Platform Rain or Shine

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Rain didn’t stop The 50th Annual Dorchester Showcase, as it took to the streets of downtown Cambridge on Sunday Sept. 27th, brightening up a rainy day with art, live music, food, and shopping.

The event was hosted by the Dorchester Center for the Arts, and gave local artists a platform to display their craft, and engage with the curious members of the community.

Reyna Collura is the Executive Director at the center, and emphasized the importance of the event.

“Well, the artists are making their work rain or shine.” Said Collura. “So, they need the support of everyone in the county and the city to come out and check out what they’re making. We’re here to make sure that we support that effort and the creativity that’s going on here in the community.”
