Delmar Ousted By Auks

The Delmar boys lacrosse team saw their season come to an end on Saturday when they traveled to play Archmere in the DIAA State Tournament quarterfinals, and fell 19-3. The Wildcats fell behind early on, and were never able to get completely back in the game.

Archmere would cap off a 5-0 run to open the game after getting a goal from Connor Dennewitz. But the Wildcats would come fighting back. They would go on a 3-0 run, getting goals themselves from Chance Watts and Alex Rosenthal. But that’s as close as they were going to get. The Auks closed the game on a 14-0 run, including shutting Delmar out the final 3 quarters to pull off the playoff win.
