Salisbury University reflects on Fall semester

SALISBURY, Md. – Colleges and universities are wrapping up their Fall semesters.

Salisbury University’s Chief of Staff said he thinks this semester went well. He said It was nice to have students back on campus for some in-person learning.

He’s also happy that the university was able to open up in a safe way and said they learned a lot on how to make COVID-19 resources more accessible.

“Normally after any break we see a bit of a spike so one thing that we are doing you talked about lessons learned, one thing that we are doing when students come back everyone is required to take a test, regardless of vaccination status, so that will allow us to provide services to those who come back and are sick,” Eli Modlin, Chief Of Staff at SU, said.

Modlin also said the college better learned how effective communication can better help students and staff who aren’t feeling well.
