The Governors Challenge, the biggest basketball tournament on the east coast, continued on Monday afternoon with a Bayside match up between Mardela and Parkside.This match up was a complete shootout - but the game was low-scoring after the first half of play with Mardela leading the way 18-11. The Warriors continued to hold onto the lead throughout the entire game and held on for the win, 37-26.Between both Mardela and Parkside, there were 111 shots taken on the floors and both team combined only managed to knock down only 23 of those shots. Needless to say, it was neither teams best performance today, but the Warriors got the job done for their first win of the tournament.
