Decatur Girls Fall Again To Walt Whitman

The Stephen Decatur girls basketball team has fallen in their last 3 games of the year after a heartbreaking loss to Pocomoke heading into the Christmas break and two losses in the Governors Challenge.

Despite the losses, it has been a great opportunity for the Seahawks to take the court against some big talent and bring what they have learned to the Bayside. In Monday’s match up against Walt Whitman, the Seahawks looked good throughout the first quarter before they let the match slip away. Amaya Mumford stormed through and looked like she was playing with more confidence than I have seen all season long, which again, will translate to better play in the Bayside.

Unfortunately, he Seahawks drop their third straight to Walt Whitman, 77-33 with Dayona Godwin leading the way for Decatur with 11 points.
