Delmar Punches Ticket To Title With Dominate Win
Delmar started this season with the goal of capturing the programs first DIAA Field Hockey State Title. Friday night, they'll get their shot against Tower Hill. The Wildcats dominate from the opening hit in their semifinal showdown with Polytech Tuesday night, earning a 2-0 win. Delmar scored early, then flexed their defensive muscle, holding the Panthers to without a corner or a shot in the match.
Parkside Athletics Moving Up To 3A
The landscape of athletics will be changing in the Bayside for at least one team in the fall of 2017. Parkside's enrollment was measured at 997, putting them at the upper half of the state, resulting in them moving from the 2A division to the 3A.

Freshman Tyler Jones (Atlantic City, New Jersey) poured in a career-high 28 points and grabbed four rebounds, while senior Bakari Copeland (Decatur, Georgia) scored 13 and grabbed 13 boards, but the University of Maryland Baltimore Country escaped the William P. Hytche Center with a 77-73 win.

After finishing the regular season with seven consecutive victories and earning the automatic qualifying bid from the New Jersey Athletic Conference, the Wesley College Football team will host Stevenson in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, November 19.
Kent Island Battles But Falls Just Short In 2A State Title
It was Kent Island dream season, but the final ending will have to wait. The Buccaneers saw their undefeated streak run all the way to the 2A State Title game before eventually coming up just short to Hereford 2-1. The final chapter for this team has yet to be written though, as the Bucs feature a team without a single season and will have the opportunity to write their final chapter next year.

The Pocomoke boys soccer team is headed back to the 1A State Title game for the first time since 2009 after earning a 2-0 win over Patterson Mill. The Warriors will now face Pikesville at Loyola.

The Lions fell in the 1A State Championship 2-0 Saturday morning to Liberty, capping off the greatest season in program history.
Wesley Tops Wm. Paterson To Claim Share Of NJAC
The Wesley College Football team overcame a 14-point first quarter deficit, scoring 59 unanswered points to earn a 59-14 victory over New Jersey Athletic Conference rival William Paterson University and clinch their second straight NJAC Crown.
