UPDATE: Police Identify Victim, Suspect in Milford Murder-Suicide

UPDATE: The Delaware State Police have identified 38-year-old Jessica Bradley of Milford, as the victim in Sunday’s murder-suicide in Milford.

The suspect, 43-year-old Brooks Bradley, also from Milford, committed suicide during the incident.

This incident remains under investigation.

MILFORD, Del. – Delaware State Police (DSP) are investigating a murder-suicide that occurred Sunday afternoon in Milford.

On Jul. 5, at 4:15 p.m., troopers responded to a Milford residence for a welfare check after a man called 911 to report that he had killed his wife and hung up. Dispatchers and arriving troopers made multiple attempts to reach the man but were unsuccessful. Ultimately, members of the DSP Special Operations Response Team entered the residence and found a 38-year-old woman with gunshot wounds and a 43-year-old man with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities are being withheld until their families are notified.
