Hardwire LLC donates thousands of face shields to help keep frontline workers, schools and hospitals safe during COVID-19 pandemic

DELAWARE — Hardwire LLC out of Pocomoke City is continuing to help those across Delmarva with their services.

On Friday, the company traveled north to Delaware to donate 200,000 face shields to help keep frontline workers, people in schools, and hospitals safe. We’re told their donation will benefit students and teachers. As well as essential workers who assist residents and their families during the COVID-19 pandemic.

U.S. senator Chris Coons was also in attendance, to recognize the considerable contribution. Senator Coons mentioned that the first state is “in for a very hard winter”, but he finished his statement saying that nothing could help the state more than the face shields made by Hardwire.

About 67,000 face shields were donated to Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children.  A full skid will go to Red Clay Consolidated School District, and the remainder will be given to Donate Delaware for distribution throughout the First State.
