SALISBURY, Md. — All Elite Wrestling brought the noise to the Wicomico Civic Center on Saturday night as “AEW Collision” delivered a packed card filled with championship matches, surprise momentum shifts and enough backstage tension to keep fans buzzing heading into Double or Nothing.

The headline bout saw Darby Allin successfully retain the AEW World Championship against longtime rival Sammy Guevara in a violent, no-count-out main event that quickly spiraled into chaos. Guevara attacked before the opening bell and nearly stole the title after a brutal sequence involving ladders, tables and multiple finishing moves, but Allin survived yet again with a Coffin Drop to close the show.

Fans inside the Salisbury crowd erupted throughout the match, especially after Guevara crashed through a table attempting a high-risk senton that ultimately backfired. The win keeps Allin’s increasingly battered title reign alive just weeks before Double or Nothing, where his issues with MJF continue looming over the company.

Earlier in the night, Willow Nightingale retained the AEW TBS Championship against Red Velvet in a hard-hitting title match that showcased two of AEW’s fastest-rising stars.

Another major talking point came from the continued friction surrounding Samoa Joe and Will Ospreay, with Ospreay addressing recent controversy during the broadcast. Meanwhile, Tay Melo and Anna Jay reunited, adding more intrigue to AEW’s women’s division moving forward.

The Conglomeration — featuring Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe and Kyle O’Reilly — picked up a victory over Shane Taylor Promotions in a trios eliminator, while Mark Davis teamed with The Dogs to defeat The Rascalz in another standout match.

Outside the ring, the “tea” surrounding AEW’s current world title picture only intensified. Fans online immediately speculated about Allin’s physical condition after another punishing defense, while others questioned whether Guevara’s renewed aggression signals a long-term heel turn. Social media reaction also centered on Ospreay’s comments and the growing possibility of several major storyline collisions ahead of Double or Nothing.

Saturday’s event continued a major wrestling weekend in Salisbury after Ring of Honor’s Supercard of Honor was held in the same venue the night before, giving the Eastern Shore one of its biggest pro wrestling weekends in years.
