Harrington teen accused of threatening Officers with metal pipe

A Harrington boy is facing charges, after Police say he threatened an Officers with a metal pipe.
Harrington Police say on June 3, Officers responded to reports of a dispute at a home on Messick Road. Once on scene, Officers say they found a 14-year-old in the driveway of the house, where he was being disorderly and cursing, while holding a 3′ long piece of metal pipe. According to the report, the boy started threatening the Officers with the pipe, and refused to drop it, even after being told to do so by Police.
Officers say after several minutes, the juvenile finally complied, and dropped the pipe, before being taken into custody. Police say that while in custody, the boy continued to be yell and curse at the officers, and other family members that were also present.
The teen was taken to the Harrington Police Department where he was charged with one count of aggravated menacing. He was later arraigned, and committed to the Stevenson Juvenile Detention Center in default of secured bond.
