Worcester Seeking People for its Community Health Assessment

SNOW HILL, Md. — The Worcester County Health Department has launched its Community Health Assessment (CHA) survey where people can share their thoughts on how to best improve health in their communities. The survey takes 10 to 15 minutes and is open to all who live, work, or play in Worcester County.
The health department and partnering agencies will use the results of the survey to help identify important health issues that will be addressed in the 2026 Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). To view the previous Community Health Assessment data and the current Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), visit worcesterhealth.org.
“Participating in the community health survey is a great way for you to have your voice heard, to share what matters most to you,” says Worcester Health Officer Rebecca Jones. “Your feedback, as well as other community data, will inform this process and assist in formulating our improvement plan.”
You can take the survey at surveymonkey.com/r/WoHDCHA2025. Physical copies of the survey are available at all Worcester County Health Department locations or upon request. The survey is completely voluntary, anonymous, and all information provided will be kept confidential.
The deadline to participate is the end of September. For questions about the survey, please contact worcester.health@maryland.gov.
