UPDATE: MSP Identifies Body in Church Creek Death Investigation

UPDATE: Maryland State Police have identified the deceased individual involved in their ongoing death investigation in Church Creek.

Police have identified the deceased as 35-year-old Timothy David Wolfe, Jr. No further updates regarding the investigation are available at this time.

CHURCH CREEK, Md. – The Maryland State Police (MSP) Homicide Unit continues to investigate after a body was found in Church Creek two weeks ago.

At approximately 1:50 p.m. on Aug. 15, deputies from the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a found body, located in the phragmites in the area of Golden Hill Road.

At the request of the Sheriff’s Office, the MSP Homicide Unit responded to lead the investigation. The circumstances surrounding the death of the unidentified man remain under investigation. The identity of the deceased and cause of death is pending autopsy results.
