Magnolia woman pleads guilty to robbery

Aaliyah Coleman, 21, Magnolia

A Magnolia woman who was arrested after a Felton robbery has pleaded guilty and been sentenced in Kent County.

According to the Delaware Department of Justice, 21-year-old Aaliyah Coleman of Magnolia pleaded guilty to second degree robbery. She was then sentenced to probation.

Coleman was arrested in September of 2016, after police say she befriended a victim through social media, and then planned for her boyfriend and another acquaintance to bring the victim to a motel in Felton and rob him.

During the robbery that happened on September 3, Coleman's boyfriend, 40-year-old Courtney Goode of Camden, and 26-year-old Michael Nunn of Felton reportedly assaulted a victim, bound his legs and hands to a chair, placed tape on his mouth, poured a chemical on his head and threatened to set him on fire. Police say the suspects also took money from the victim after cutting off his hair.

Coleman was originally charged with robbery in the first, kidnapping in the first, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, conspiracy in the second, and assault in the first.

She was then ordered to be held on $202,000 secured bond.
