8-year-old boy aims to collect 3,000 pajamas for children in need in Delaware

DELAWARE – While most 8-year-old’s spend the holidays asking for presents, a local boy is spending his winter asking for donations so he can help other kids.

Enzo Vincent is hoping to get 3,000 pairs of pajamas for children in need across Delaware. His pajama drive started 3 years ago, with the goal of getting 100 pairs. But with the community’s effort, he ended up with 500.

47 ABC spoke to Enzo and his mother about why they hope people donate a pair of pajamas this holiday season. Danielle Vincent, Enzo’s Mother, says “Enzo has always said that his new pair of pajamas made him feel warm and loved and that’s what he wants to give to others, he wants others to feel exactly the way he feels when he gets his new pair of pajamas.”

Enzo says, “Children really like the pajamas because I can see it in their faces that it makes them really happy.”

Enzo’s pajama drive is asking for sizes 5T to XXL by December 20th.
