SBY road, parking closures start ahead of National Folk Festival

SALISBURY, Md. – With the National Folk Festival just days away, Salisbury residents can expect street and parking lot closures. The majority of street closures will start the first morning of the festival. Any cars left on streets within the area will have to be removed by 6 a.m.

Parking lot closures and relocation lots will close in a rolling system. Those parking in Lot 10 by Main Street are asked to park in Lot 10 closer to Church Street. For those in Lots 1, 15, 12, and 11, drivers are asked to park in the parking garage. Parking for Lot 16 will be moved to the parking garage or Lot 10. For Lot 4, drivers should look to park in the parking garage or Lot 30.

Permit holders who have not received an email from the City are asked to contact info@downtownsalisbury.org with their name, lot number, and permit number. City officials say parking spots are not guaranteed for permit holders during the festival.
