Texas Road House Restaurants to Donate Profits to Tinnitus In Honor of Founder
SALISBURY, Md- The Texas roadhouse restaurant chain says they’ll be raising awareness and funding for the treatment of Tinnitus after their owner died after suffering for many years from the condition which produces a near-constant ringing in the ears.
Texas Road House and Bubba’s 33 locations across the US will donate all profits on February seventh to the American Tinnitus Foundation, to help staff their 1800 helpline as well as educate doctors on how to more quickly identify the condition and get people suffering the help they need.
Texas Roadhouse Spokesman Travis Doster tells us “People often mistakenly think tinnitus is an ear problem when it is a neurological problem and we saw that with our founder Kent he misunderstood it we all didn’t know so our first step is to help when the ringing starts and when they reach out.”
Texas Roadhouse officials say they’re hoping to raise about a half-million dollars in the fight against tinnitus.
