I’m Rob Flaks, a reporter/producer here at 47ABC. I grew up in Jericho, NY on Long Island just 40 minutes out from NYC. I went to school at Syracuse University where I was enrolled at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
I love to cover politics and economic stories- and my goal is to be one of the local news snippets that ends up in a Jon Oliver Last Week Tonight piece on some obscure but very in-depth topic. I’m a big fan of Sopranos, Syracuse Sports , Esports, bodybuilding and The West Wing.
