Dorchester County Recreation and Parks prepares for 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – Community organizations across Dorchester County are turning up the Halloween spirit.

Dorchester County Recreation and Parks will host its second annual Trunk or Treat event next Wednesday, October 28th.

Last year, several nonprofits from around the area, as well as the Cambridge Police Department and the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office handed out candy to over 500 kids.

Officials say that level of success is enough to bring the event back.

“It’s just, it’s great to have all the partners back again. This year is just a testament of how everything went well last year with us. And, they’re wanted to come back and provide a great, atmosphere for the kids for the trunk or treat event,” says Recreation and Parks Director, Duc Trieu.

Trunk or Treat will take place at 446 Willis Street on Wednesday, October 28th starting at 5 P.M.
