City Minute: Turn Up the Volume & Downtown Live
SALISBURY, Md. – In this week’s City Minute, WMDT’s John Trout and Salisbury’s Events and Culture Manager Caroline O’Hare discuss the varying musical events coming to Downtown Salisbury this month.
First, Turn Up the Volume is coming to the Plaza this month. The event is an expanded concept of Third Friday, bringing two stages of live music, street performances, family activities, and more throughout all of Downtown Salisbury. Plus, with more music and more fun, this month’s Third Friday is running even longer! Come enjoy the music and other festivities on Sept. 18, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Additionally, Caroline tells WMDT that Turn Up the Volume is the first step in a larger initiative called Downtown Live, which will bring more live music and performance opportunities to downtown Salisbury throughout the entire year. Lost in Paris is already booked to come to Salisbury as a headliner, along with the talented Mike Hines.
Be sure to come Downtown, bring a chair, bring your friends and family and enjoy the music!
