Technical Director – Morning Shift – Full-Time Position
WMDT is seeking a reliable and creative media production specialist to join our studio. Must be hardworking and detail focused with the ability to multi-task and work hands-on in broadcast news. Must be available to work from 3:30am –12:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Proficient at performing all duties associated with Technical Director position.
- Set up and operate all studio equipment.
- Manage the studio floor for live and recorded programming.
- Operate the prompter for live and recorded programming.
- Operate the audio board for live and recorded programing.
- Contribute to digital and radio platforms as needed.
- Shoot and edit video as needed.
- Weekday morning and evening hours required.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Degree in Media Production or Communication preferred but will consider related experience. Strong communication skills are required. Must be flexible with schedule. Knowledge of Adobe Premiere a plus.
Wage range: $17.00/hour-$19.00/hour
