50 beds gifted to underserved children
DELMAR, Del. — 50 children on Delmarva were surprised with new beds thanks to Ashley Furniture’s “Hope to Dream” program.
The Ashley Furniture Stores of Delmar and Millsboro gifted 50 beds, along with bed frames, pillows, sheets, and comforters to 50 underserved children on the Lower Shore.
Ashley Furniture partnered with Children’s Beach House and Furniture Land for the giveaway.
Since 2010, Hope to Dream has given over 140-thousand beds to children in need. The initiative was launched by Ashley Furniture to ensure that every child has a safe and comfortable place to sleep. The organization says the beds will be a foundation for the children’s growth and well-being.
A portion of the proceeds from every mattress purchased at a participating Ashley store goes toward the program.
