Easton man facing multiple charges after crashing while under the influence

EASTON, Md. – An Easton man is facing multiple charges after being involved in a serious crash under the influence of alcohol.

Easton Police say around 12:53 Wednesday morning, officers were called to the 600 block of Dutchmans Lane for a crash. When officers arrived, they found a heavily damaged vehicle off the roadway, which had struck a utility pole. The driver was identified as 27-year-old Antonio Gonzalez Perez. Police say he was showing signs of impairment, and was arrested on scene.

Gonzalez Perez was charged with driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and driving a vehicle while impaired by alcohol. He is also facing charges for negligent driving, speeding, violating license restrictions, and driving without required supervision while holding a learner’s permit. Gonzalez Perez was released on citations.
