Town of Berlin building closure update

BERLIN, Md. – The Town of Berlin has released an update on town buildings following COVID-19 cases among employees.

We’re told that effective today, November 23rd, the Planning Department and Visitors Center will re-open to the public. Town Hall will operate on a modified closure, opening to the public only on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This will remain in effect until January 3, 2022.

“Our top priority is protecting the health and safety of our employees and residents all while not jeopardizing the delivery of vital town services,” said Mayor Zack Tyndall.

Customer Service staff are working and available to help customers with utility bills and processing other payments. Customers can drop off their payments at either of the two drop boxes located at Town Hall, pay bills in-person on Wednesdays, or pay online.

All public meetings in December are scheduled to continue, but in-person attendance will be limited, and masks will be required.
