During the pursuit, HPD was assisted by Delaware State Police Aviation, who viewed Reed and Parker fleeing into Maryland. Through collaboration with the Denton Police Department, Reed and Parker were ultimately apprehended at a Goose Creek gas station, and found in possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

During the search warrant at the residence on Rose Haven Lane, Christie Lake was taken into custody and later charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Prior to the execution of the search warrant, intelligence was gathered that Reed’s son, Jaleel Reed, had been staying at the location as well. Police knew Jaleel Reed to be a Level 2 Probationer, a two-time convicted felon, and an absconder from probation. Additionally, he was wanted by HPD for a separate pursuit from Apr., in which his mother, Barbara Reed was the passenger.
