Woman arrested for stealing mother’s credit card

A woman has been charged with multiple counts of theft as a result of a criminal complaint.

According to officials from Ocean Pines, a 70-year-old woman reported that her credit cards were stolen on December 28. The cards were reportedly used at the Wal-Mart in Berlin, and surveillance video found a suspect purchasing a flat screen television using the victim's stolen credit card.

The suspect was identified by the victim as the victim's daughter, 43-year-old Heather Camp of Ocean Pines. Camp faces two counts of theft of credit cards, and three counts of charge of a stolen credit card, less than $500.

She was taken before a District Court Commissioner and ordered to be held on $7,500 bond at the Worcester County Jail.
