The Delmar wrestling team is having one of their best seasons in years. The team features 10 seniors that have helped them to a 8-4 duel record, and have them headed into this weekends conference tournament with momentum and confidence. But there is something else that has pushed this team all year long, and that the courage of three of their teammates.

The Pocomoke boys basketball team got an impressive road victory on Thursday night, defeating a red-hot Snow Hill team 75-43.

It was Senior Night Tuesday night as the Stephen Decatur Seahawks hosted the Kent County Trojans, and came out victorious and sailed to an easy victory 90-58

Easton Wins Ugly At Bennett

It wasn't pretty, but it will get the job done. Easton earned a road win Tuesday night when they traveled to Bennett and pulled out a 58-52 win. The win improves the Warriors to 11-7, while the loss drops the Clippers to 2-16.

Hudson Nets 1,000th Pt In Easton Win

Easton girls basketball senior Kaiya Hudson got to celebrate a special moment with her team on Tuesday night. On the second possession of the game, she went baseline where she was fouled, and would make her first free throw to give her 1,000 points in her incredible career. Her team would respond for her as they went on to win 64-31. The win improves the Warriors to 14-4, while the loss drops the Clippers to 11-7.

Senators Drop 106 On Sussex Tech

The Dover boys basketball team hit the road Tuesday night and rolled to a 106-43 win. The win improves the Senators to 14-3 on the year, while the loss drops the Ravens to 0-17. 

Postlethwait hands Edison their first loss in three years

The Postlethwait girls basketball team topped Thomas Edison of Wilmington as they defeated them 37-26 in the championship game of the Capital Classic. The RIders jumped out to a big early lead led by Lily Ayers and Jada McCullough who both finished in double digits. Hot shooting from the outside got Edison back in the game, but a total team effort from Postlethwait would close the game for the win.

Central Boys Roll Prestige Acd. For Title

The Central boys basketball team picked up the Capital Classic Championship Sunday when they defeated Prestige Academy 52-27. The Senators jumped out to a monster lead as Elijah Allen, Javon Peace and Jayvon Rush-Taylor controlled the boards, and were seemingly scoring at will. As the game wore on, Central was able to go more to their bench but it didn't slow down their torrent pace as they dominate the game til the final buzzer.
