SU & Wesley Men's Lacrosse Members Honored With CAC Awards

The Capital Athletic Conference announced their 2016 Men's Lacrosse awards, with several SU and Wesley players being honored. Headlining this years group included SU's Jim Berkman who was named the CAC Coach of the Year for the 10th time, while Thomas Cirillo was named the CAC Player of the Year.

The Capital Athletic Conference announced the 2016 Conference Awards Thursday, with several members of the Salisbury University and Wesley teams being honored. Headlining this years group, included SU's Margie Knight who was named the CAC Coach of the Year for the 14th time, while Molly Simpson was named the CAC Player of the Year and Brooke Mizelle was named the CAC Rookie of the Year.

Another year, another Bayside South Title for the Mardela softball team as they clinched their 6th straight title Wednesday with their 9-1 win at Bennett. The win improves the Warriors to 15-3, while the loss drops the Clippers to 7-6.

Mayhem In Mardela! Genga's Walk-Off Helps Warriors Shock Rams

The Mardela softball team earned their biggest win of the season Monday, and they had to battle to get extras to even do it. The Warriors' Sydney Goertzen would score the game tying run in the 7th to force extras, where Logan Genga would smack the walk-off RBI single to right. The win improves the Warriors to 14-3 on the year, while the loss drops the Rams to 8-4.
