Kent Island got off to a great start taking a 14 - 0 lead after just one quarter of play. The Indians had a huge block on a field goal attempt to start out the 2nd quarter, but the game belonged to the Bucs who kept pounding the football.Kent Island finished this one out with a 42-20 victory on the road over the second-straight Bayside South opponent.

The Caesar Rodney Riders played the St. Georges Hawks on a very rainy, wet, and the cool Thursday evening. Both teams looked past the weather and made sure they left it all on the football field.St. George's opened up the game with a monster drive on the ground, but the riders made some big plays on defense and including Michael Clavier's fumble recovery just before the end zone. However, Caesar Rodney's offense did not see many great moments in the first half including a very short first possession leading to the Hawks to take over and put up the first points of the game for a 7-0 lead.The Hawks posted another 14 points to make it a total of 21-0, but Caesar Rodney's Brian Lewis was led into the end zone in the midst of the pile to get on the board, 21-6 and that would be the score at halftime.Despite the wet conditions, the teams also continue to run the ball on the ground heavily. The Hawks posted another 7 points in the third quarter, taking a 28 - 6 lead, but Caesar Rodney's put in Jared Wagenhoffer who eventually threw a touchdown pass to Bailey DeAtley.Despite the changes made by Caesar Rodney, it would not be enough as St. Georges take this one, 34-14.
