SU Takes Part In NFL Play 60
Salisbury, MD – The Salisbury University football team took part in the NFL “Fuel up to Play 60” event, helping teach kids the importance of eating right and exercising to live a healthy life style. Students from school across Delmarva got the opportunity to come spend the day at Sea Gulls stadium, participating in football drills lead by current and former Sea Gulls players, as well as former NFL players Qadry Ismail and Robert Royal.
After the students did drills for around 45 minutes, they got to take pictures with both Ismail and Royal as well as just talk to them about their pro football playing experiences. The day was a memorable for almost everyone involved, from the students, to the SU players, to the pros.
