Four arrested on drug charges in Smyrna heroin sweep

Police in Smyrna have made three arrests, after several search warrants were executed.
On Thursday morning, around 6:00 AM, Officers with the Smyrna Police Department along with the assistance of the Dover Police Department S.O.R.T, Clayton Police Department, Kent County Paramedics, the Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, and the Drug Enforcement Agency searched three Smyrna homes in connection to an investigation into the illegal sale of heroin in the area.
Authorities say they they searched homes on Sunnyside Road, Stella Street and Baldwin Drive.
Twenty seven-year-old Daniel Coffman was taken into custody at the Stella Street home, before being charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later arraigned and released on $2,500 unsecured bond, pending a future court appearance.
Thirty four-year-old Tyrone Onley, was arrested at the Sunnyside Road home after he apparently tried to flee through a bedroom window, and was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a prescription drug without a prescription and resisting arrest. Onley was arraigned and held on a $800 secured bond. Twenty seven-year-old Christopher Manley,was also arrested at the Sunnyside Road home, and was charged with maintaining a drug property and possession of drug paraphernalia. Manely was arraigned and given a $1,200 secured bond.
Thirty-year-old Lakeesha Wilsonwas taken into custody at the Harkins Drive home, shortly after the escaped through a bedroom window, and was charged with charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a prescription drug without a prescription and resisting arrest. She was arraigned and issued a $800 secured bond.
