Wicomico Co. to receive USDA grant

SALISBURY, Md. – Andy Harris has announced that Wicomico County will receive a $34,000 USDA grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

We’re told the grant is to help fund a marketing and advertising study aimed at attracting new tourism to the region to support the local small business community.

Officials say the total study cost will be almost $180,000, with the county and state funding the balance.
