Playground blaze in Easton reportedly linked to kids playing with fire

Officials say kids playing with fire, led to flames burning playground equipment in Easton.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says a neighbor reported the fire at the plastic playground equipment on Penny Lane, owned by the Town of Easton, at about 3:15 PM on Saturday.
Five firefighters from the Easton Volunteer Fire Department responded, and had the flames under control in about ten minutes. Damages are estimated at $500.
Investigators say they fire started on the ground, underneath the rock wall. The flames reportedly started by juvenile fire play, and has been ruled as accidental.The Easton Police Department apparently assisted in the investigation.
