Oven Cravers recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination

A local grocery chain has removed several chicken products from their shelves, due to possible Salmonella contamination. Giant Food says that the U.S. Department of Agriculture public health alert has prompted the removal of select Oven Cravers frozen, raw, stuffed and breaded chicken products, because of the possible contamination.

The following products are included in this recall:
· Oven Cravers Chicken Parmesan, 10 oz., UPC 4542153140 with a best by date between October 29, 2016 and December 16, 2016 and an establishment number of “P-1358” inside the USDA mark of inspection
· Oven Cravers Chicken Cordon Bleu, 10 oz., UPC 4542141512 with a best by date between October 29, 2016 and December 16, 2016 and an establishment number of “P-1358” inside the USDA mark of inspection
· Oven Cravers Broccoli and Cheese Chicken, 10 oz., UPC 4542145512 with a best by date between October 29, 2016 and December 16, 2016 and an establishment number of “P-1358” inside the USDA mark of inspection

Giant says there have been no reports of illness at this time. Those who bought any of the products listed, should throw away any unused portions, and bring their purchase receipt to Giant, for a full refund.
