One charged in Cambridge armed robbery investigation

A Cambridge man is behind bars on more than a half a million dollar bond, for his apparent involvement in an armed robbery.
Cambridge Police say on Thursday, Officers responded to the Cambridge Mart on Race Street, for reports of an armed robbery. Once on scene, two employees reportedly told the Officers that two people had come into the store, one pointing a gun, and both demanding the employees open the register. Police say the suspects took and undisclosed amount of cash, before running from the store.
Police say during their investigation, they identified one of the suspects as 20-year-old Debreon Cephas. Police were apparently able to get a warrant for him, and take him into custody, where he was charged with armed robbery, 1st degree assault, reckless endangerment, 2nd degree assault, handgun on person, and firearm use/felony-violent crime.
He is currently being held at the Dorchester County Detention Center on a $550,000 bond.
Police say they are continuing to look for a second suspect in this case. They tell 47ABC that they also believe that Cephas was involved in a additional robbery incident that that are currently investigating.
