MDOT SHA shifts traffic on Salisbury Bypass

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration shifted traffic on U.S. 13.
Changing the bi-directional traffic from the interloop to outlerloop, south of route 50.
We are told beach traffic won’t see any impact.
The changes are being done so crews can begin work on the southbound bridges, just south of Parker Pond.
The SHA is urging drivers to use caution with the construction going on and slowing down.
The next big step is to work on the ramp which is located on Rt. 13 onto the bypass.
That is expected to take 6 weeks to complete. Right now, the entire Salisbury Bypass project is scheduled to be completed by next summer.
