Man injured after Rehoboth Beach surf accident

Officials say that a man was injured after a surf accident in Rehoboth Beach on Friday morning.

According to the Rehoboth Beach Patrol, a lifeguard rescued a man on Rehoboth Avenue at 11:30 a.m. after he was slammed down by a wave.

Officials say that the man was taken to Beebe Medical Center after suffering neck and back trauma.
