Health officials announce 107 new COVID-19 cases, 2 deaths in Del.
SMYRNA, Del. – The Delaware Division of Public Health is reporting two additional deaths related to coronavirus in the state.
We’re told both of the recent deaths involve New Castle County residents ranging in age from 30 to 77.
Officials also say there are 107 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 9,605. 4,272 of those cases have been in Sussex County, with 1,440 in Kent, and 3,838 in New Castle. 159 individuals are currently hospitalized, 32 of whom are critically ill.
5,353 Delawareans have made a full recovery from the virus.
