30 new cases, 9 additional deaths reported in Del.
SMYRNA, Del. – The Delaware Division of Public Health says that an additional nine people have died as a result of the coronavirus in the state.
We’re told that all nine individuals had underlying health conditions, and ranged in age from 52 to 99. Five were New Castle County residents, and four were Sussex County residents.
Officials are also announcing an additional 30 positive cases, bringing the statewide total to 9,096. Sussex County has seen 4,140 cases, while Kent has seen 1,374, and New Castle has seen 3,528. Currently, 196 individuals are hospitalized, 36 of whom are critically ill.
An additional 107 Delawareans have made a full recovery from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,909.
