Millsboro man pleads guilty to robbery and other charges

Officials say that a Millsboro man pleaded guilty to robbery and other charges this week.
According to Delaware Department of Justice officials, 22-year-old Marcel Matthews of Millsboro, pleaded guilty to second degree robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, wearing a disguise and second degree conspiracy.
In February 2017, Matthews and another man approached a victim as he walked along Albury Avenue in Georgetown. They then robbed him at gunpoint.
After taking the victim's wallet, Matthews struck the victim in the head with a gun.
Matthews faces 111 years to life in prison when he is sentenced in August.
