Dover man waiting extradition after connection to burglaries

Police say that a Dover man is awaiting extradition for several burglaries in the Dover area as well as other areas in Delaware.
During the week of April 20-27, Dover Police say they investigated three burglaries and one attempted burglary at area convenience stores. On April 22, the Harrington Police Department also investigated a burglary of a cigarette outlet and were able to identify 38-year-old Anthony Hogan as the suspect.
On April 22 and 27, Hogan allegedly stole cigarettes and lottery tickets from the DOT Discount store on State Street in Dover. On April 20, Hogan reportedly went into the Valero on North DuPont Highway and took $800 in cigarettes, and on April 22, Hogan allegedly went into the College Road but fled after breaking the front door glass.
Dover Police detectives linked Hogan to the series of burglaries that happened in Dover during the week of April 20-27. Hogan is also reportedly responsible for burglaries being investigated by Delaware State Police, Harrington Police, Smyrna Police and Middletown Police.
On June 19, Hogan was arrested by the New Jersey State Police in Camden, New Jersey.
